![]() ESO struggles to run steadily on base Xbox One consoles which is highlighted with some of the caveats thrown into the Xcloud solution. ![]() Switching to the Series S|X chips will ensure that games can not only run and capture at higher resolutions for streaming, but also pull and load data much faster. I'm going to chalk this up to not being a perfected technology, but more importantly still having the blades for Xcloud run off the Xbox One S chipsets. While games like Destiny minimize this by forcing almost all data through the Bungie servers it seems ESO splits enough data to the local save that when booting into Game Pass you can be put onto a bad blade that does not pull that save properly and as a result incorrectly connects to the servers because of a mismatch. I believe a big part of the issue right now is that the amount of data tied to your game profile is fragmented between the local save, cloud save, and the MMO servers. I've been testing this particular title (and Black Desert) for a while since the promise of streaming MMOs without needing to leave my PC on for Steam Link is the dream. ![]()
